Day 8: Practice and a Walk

We've been so grateful to have Leslie Nuñez and Xavier Garcia Molina step in as Fran and Salina have been occupied with work outside of LEP. This has been another reminder of how much we need each other and how important our comunidad is. It is sacred.



Today we focused on tightening up our presentations! We are gearing up for the Grand Finale where we make a public commitment to ourselves and our gente. We also visited the Hostile Terrain exhibit at the Phillips Museum of Art and talked about how the fight for immigration that is just, progressive, and uplifts our community is a fight for all of us. The show was a moving reminder of where we come from and how far we have to go as a community.
